I have some manageable OA issues in one of my knees, mostly stiffness and some weakness. My walking gait has been impacted, however, and I have developed hip discomfort as I compensate for my wonky knee. Your video about walking properly was a game changer! Being mindful - almost relearning - how to properly propel my walk using my glutes is bringing stability improvement and pain relief. Sometimes, I mentally say to myself, “glutes,” with every step find my gait correcting itself, lol! Thank you!

Such helpful, accessible guidance, Janine. I was thinking of my dad while reading it and how certain types of embodied awareness that are second nature to me are very much foreign to him. You offer such a beautiful bridge for people through your writing and work. ❤️
