I think we are more aware of our response to physical hunger but emotional hunger is never sated once you’re full. You keep on eating until you’re ‘stuffed’. I try to pay attention to the sensation of physical hunger and the feeling of fullness after eating, and it’s not that uncomfortable ‘stuffed’ feeling.

Paying attention is key to deciding whether it's physical or emotional hunger. Once you figure that out, you'll know what to do about it. Eating until you are no longer hungry is the goal, by the time you hit "stuffed," you've gone too far.

Yoga has always been about strength and relaxation to me. I've never been one for exercise classes, I love my at home dvd's and now video's online, but mostly walking. I was very into Jane Fonda's video's back in the day! Fad diets also not for me. There's been some really crazy ones!

Totally! I did Jane Fonda, we had her record! The Grapefruit Diet, the Special K Diet, so many ridiculous diets, all in the name of losing weight. 🤦‍♀️

As a female who survived the 80s and 90s, I have seen many diet and exercise fads come and go (Ab Roller or Taebo anyone?).

Oh, yes! Both!!

Me too! 🤦‍♀️
