Another great post with excellent information. I especially resonated with your comment about letting the body determine the stretch. If I don't push myself into a stretch but wait for my body to warm up to the idea, then I get so much more out of the pose. Such helpful advice, Janine!

Thanks for this wonderful article. By the way, sometimes we disconnect to any activity of sport, but when I read something about the importance of these activities, they are for me as an important reminder that i should not forget.

Excellent article and guidance. I use these poses and others to balance my weight training. Over 50 isn’t a barrier to physical fitness activity. Those of us who maintain a disciplined workout regimen are rewriting quality of life standards.

Agreed. Aging shouldn't be a barrier to keeping the body strong and mobile. The body might feel different at 50 than it did at 20, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of it.
