Healing with Whole Foods by Paul Pitchfork talks more about TCM and food, from both a TCM and Western perspective. Those are good places to start. You can also see a local holistic nutritionist or acupuncturist/TCM practitioner, but people vary in terms how how much they integrate nutrition into their practices. People who practice Chinese herbal medicine might be more informed than straight acupuncturists. I hope that helps!

That's great! I often promote eating according to the TCM diagnosis for my patients. Avoiding cold raw foods for people who run cold, avoiding damp producing foods for people who have a lot of phlegm, moistening foods for people who are dry, etc. I have heard of IIN, I was toying with studying there in the early 2000s, but then kids came along and I didn't have time.
