Great article! I used to have chronic pain due to nervous system dysregulation. Yoga has helped me regulate my nervous system and since I started practicing a few years ago, the chronic pain and migraines that came with it are completely gone 🙏

Yoga is an anti-aging tool. It can roll back time.

In my 20's, I was so stiff and inflexible that I once pulled a back muscle lifting a coffee thermos off the floor. I didn't even discover yoga until in my mid 40's and it was a gamechanger.

Now, at 56, I feel flexible and capable, thanks to daily yoga.

Agreed! The better you can move, the younger you feel. Joseph Pilates had a saying about you are only as young as your spine feels, or something to that effect. I believe it. Stiffness feels older, mobility feels younger.

As I approach 50 next month and realize I started doing yoga when my kids were toddlers and now they’re young adults it’s humbling to see where this journey has taken me. What a gift yoga has given me. Glad to have found you.

In my videos I can see myself getting stronger all over. I also see my midsection getting bigger and it's devastating. I need to focus more on strength and the true practices of yoga. Yoga is so much more than fitness it's inner, emotional fitness too. The latter I need to focus on

Yes! We often start yoga for the outer journey, but it's the inner journey that is so much more fulfilling and nurturing.
