Weight has nothing to do with it, mobility does. I have been practicing for many years and have mobility on my side. Whether my stomach is big or small doesn't affect my range of motion. You do the best you can with the body you have.
This is so insightful Janine. I have been doing this pose for a while..I do the first and second part..the third going fully in a bow down position haven't tried, will definitely try! ☺️

The third pose does not fit me, I need to lose some weight. But I find it nice.

Yes absolutely will do..it seems like the big finish with a 'feel good' moment ( big deep stretch) 🥰
Janine, I love this pose. It was a staple for me daily and not sure if I can do it any longer since my surgery last December.
It may not look like it did before surgery, but you can probably still do it supported with props.
