I started a few years ago, and the main challenge was the position as I am not very flexible. But I learned (or accept) that if I get really uncomfortable, I can allow myself to move - as long as I do it consciously. Meditation can happen also in different forms: in qigong we practise standing meditation, and qigong itself can be considered meditation in motion, combining together breath, movements and focus.

Yes, permission to move is so important! Suffering is not part of meditation, but as you said, it needs to be intentional and mindful.
Moving meditation is wonderful, and really good for people who can't sit still. Thanks for sharing your experience!
