Yes, the main challenge related to get healthy body is food. I watch a doctor saying the big question is not what we should eat but it is what we should not eat.
I don't know what I would without my yoga practice. It keeps me grounded emotionally and physically the benefits to my joints and muscles makes it a necessity...Yoga relieves the soreness and stiffness of middle age.
I've made nice progress with Locust Pose...thank you for your Dancer's Pose prep sequence 🤎
This week I've added Crow back into my practice. So good!
Well, I could talk yoga for days, but the point is I appreciate your posts, so valuable 🤎
This is great, but I am feeling discouraged today. I have been practicing yoga, I am active, a healthy weight but yet the cartilage has worn out on my knees bone on bone arthistis started at 54 I am now 56. I am doing what I can. I used to think arthritis and bad knees were someone's fault. It isnt. There are things we can prevent this one I could not. A previous injury when I was younger accelerated this
this. I do pt and yoga. I am a dog walker. I don't give up. Yet after a short walk my knees are sore and swelling. Yes I will need new knees soon and I am fighting to get one because of my age. I look fit but I have the knees of an 80 year-old and that suck. My gel injections wore off and my insurance won't cover
Arthritis is definitely not your fault. Sometimes it's genetic, sometimes due to injury or previous surgery. Acupuncture can be enormously helpful for the pain until you can get a replacement. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this, pain like that sucks. 💜
I've done acupuncture for years for allergies and chronic sinus issues. I have knee pain that comes and goes. For ongoing back pain, I broke down and invested in an incline board. I don't know if it helps knee pain. Check with your PT. But, for me the investment was wll worth it.
Acupuncture really helps with the pain, swelling, and inflammation. I have had great success with it. I bet there is someone in your area who can help.
To be young or elder is not regarding to the age, I see it is up to our thinking.
I agree. Our thinking and what we do with our body.

Oh, there are those days... pain can wreak havoc on the body/mind/spirit.
It can. There definitely is a mind/body connection and snow is coming. My body knows before I do
It sure can.

Incline boards are great for back pain.
I love mine. My acupuncturist recommended it.
